How do I fit VitalSleep?

Immerse VitalSleep in hot water for 45 seconds, let it cool for a few seconds more, insert it into your mouth, and gently bite down to create custom teeth impressions. Please follow the instructions included in your order. VitalSleep is now available in sizes for men and women.

How do I adjust VitalSleep?

VitalSleep has left and right nylon, medical grade screws that are easily adjustable to move the lower tray of the mouthpiece forward or back. An adjustment tool is included with your order. Turning each screw clockwise brings the lower jaw forward and increases the opening of your airway.

How do I clean VitalSleep?

How do I get a free replacement?

What if my mouthpiece comes out of my mouth during sleep?

VitalSleep's teeth impressions help to keep the mouthpiece in the mouth. It will take a few days for a new user to get accustomed to sleeping with a mouthpiece. Are there any taxes?

Since VitalSleep is a medical device there is no sales tax in the USA. International orders may be custom feed based on your country's laws which the buyer is responsible for paying.

When will my order ship?

Your order will ship the same business day when ordered by 1 pm EST Monday-Saturday. Shipping is currently free worldwide. Your order will be delivered in 2-4 business days within the USA. Orders shipped outside the USA arrive in 7-20 days.

I have a recent dental implant. Can I use VitalSleep?

Dental implants must be secure and at least 1 year old to use VitalSleep and recommend you ask your dentist if VitalSleep would be suitable for you.

Are there any customs fees or taxes for orders shipped outside the USA?

We pay the shipping cost for orders shipped outside the country. However, the buyer is responsible for any and all customs fees, handling fees, or import taxes that their government may charge their residents.

Do you ship to countries outside the USA?

Yes! We ship to most international countries for free. You will receive your order in approximately 7-20 days. Due to COVID-19 mail delays, international orders may require a few more days for delivery.

Do I have to returned my used device for a refund.

No. Please do not return your used VitalSleep. Due to sanitary reason, used devices are not to be sent back. We may require you to email us a photo of the product if the product is used.

How long will VitalSleep last?

Your VitalSleep device is durable and usually last 1-3 years with normal use.

What is VitalSleep made of?

VitalSleep is made of medical-grade outer plastic and inner thermal plastic that softens to mold to your teeth. The 3 materials are Polypropylene (PP), and Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), and the screw are nylon. All of the materials have undergone extensive testing that includes toxicology, sensitivity, and biocompatibility assessments.

It does not contain BPA, latex, silicone, or metal. The materials are made in the USA and are formulated for medical applications that require FDA compliance. FDA-cleared means the manufacturer can demonstrate that their product is "substantially equivalent to another (similar) legally marketed device" that already has FDA clearance or approval.

I grind my teeth. Will VitalSleep help?

Although VitalSleep is for the reduction of snoring, some users do experience decreased teeth grinding (bruxism).

Does VitalSleep replace a C-PAP?

VitalSleep is FDA-cleared to be sold over the counter for the reduction of snoring. It's not a replacement for a C-PAP or a sleep apnea machine. Some medical professionals recommend mandibular advancement devices like VitalSleep for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and you should speak to your doctor to determine if a product like VitalSleep is suitable for you.

How long will VitalSleep last before a replacement is needed?

VitalSleep will last approximately 1 year or longer for most users. In case it doesn't, we will replace it for free within the first year. Many of our competitor products last for a shorter period. Fo user who grind their teeth, this time period may be less. We recommend replacing VitalSleep every 12-36 months or if you notice is has become less effective.

Can I wear VitalSleep with braces or retainers?

Unfortunately, it can not be worn with braces or retainers. The mouthpiece will not fit properly.

Do you accept medical insurance, FSA, or HSA payments?

Sorry, we currently do not accept medical insurance. Most FSA and HSA payments will be accepted at checkout.

Will it work with dentures, partials, or crowns?

You will need a majority of your teeth for VitalSleep to fit. Partials or crowns must be secure and at least 1 year old. VitalSleep will not fit unless the dentures are worn with the mouthpiece, however, wearing VitalSleep with dentures may be uncomfortable and not recommended.

What if I do not fit VitalSleep properly?

We will replace it for free for you to try again. Simply email us at Used products do not have to be returned.

Can I close my mouth fully with VitalSleep?

VitalSleepa> fits the majority of users. If the teeth impressions are not deep enough (reheat it to form deeper impressions) or if a user has a small mouth, fully closing one's mouth my be limited.

What does it mean that it is FDA-cleared?

VitalSleep is cleared by the FDA for the reduction of snoring and it is manufactured under strict production guidelines and has undergone biocompatiblity testing to ensure the materials used are approved for use in oral appliances.

Can I breathe through my mouth with VitalSleep?

Yes. VitalSleep will allow you to also breathe through your mouth if needed. Many snorers experience nasal congestion or blockage and therefore are required to be able to breathe through their mouth.

Will VitalSleep work if I have a large overbite?

We do not recommend VitalSleep for users with a large overbite since it will not fit.

What are the contraindications of use?

Do not use if you have central sleep apnea, severe respiratory disorder, loose teeth or advanced periodontal disease, temporomandibular disorder (TMJ), have a dental implant less than 1 year old, or are under the age of 18. Use of this device can cause tooth movement or changes to dental occulsion, tooth or gum soreness, pain or soreness to the jaw, obstruction of oral breathing, and excessive salivation.

Does VitalSleep treat sleep apnea?

Unless otherwise directed by a dentist or physician, VitalSleep should only be used to reduce snoring.
